Parquet requires more planning and skill than straight-lay flooring. We establish the room centrepoint, plan the pattern layout, cut border pieces accurately and glue-down every block by hand. The result is a floor that will stay flat and aligned for decades.

Our consultant visits with herringbone and chevron samples in engineered wood, LVT and SPC. We discuss block size, pattern type and material based on your room dimensions, budget and use.
Room Survey & Layout Plan
We survey the room precisely — measuring for the centrepoint, calculating block quantities with pattern waste allowance and planning border treatment and doorway transitions.

Herringbone vs Chevron Parquet — What's the Difference?
Herringbone uses rectangular blocks laid at 90-degree angles to each other — the classic broken-diagonal pattern. The joints of adjacent blocks align in a zigzag. Chevron uses blocks with angled ends (typically 45 or 60 degrees) that form perfect V-shapes with no offset — a more precise, continuous diagonal pattern. Herringbone is more traditional; chevron is more contemporary. Both are equally striking in Dubai interiors.
Wood, LVT or SPC Parquet in Dubai?
Engineered wood herringbone is the most luxurious option — real wood, natural grain, refinishable. LVT vinyl herringbone gives a very similar appearance at a lower cost and is 100% waterproof — suitable for kitchens and wet-adjacent areas where real wood is not appropriate. SPC herringbone is the most durable and dimensionally stable option for Dubai's temperature swings — recommended for high-traffic areas.
Parquet Block Size & Spacing
Standard herringbone blocks are 70×280mm or 90×360mm — the ratio matters more than the absolute size. Larger blocks suit larger rooms and look more contemporary; smaller blocks have a finer, more traditional appearance. We bring physical samples of different block sizes to your free home visit so you can see the scale in your actual space.
